Abstract

The energy in the Schrodinger wave equation for simple potentials can be formulated analytically, and this Python programming can provide a visualization (illustration) of Schrodinger equation for these simple potentials. The research data is the result of deriving the formula to find a solution to the Schrodinger equation on a potential barrier. Futhermore, using the Python programming language, a computational simulation is carried out. The result show that the difference between E and V_0 effects the chance of reflection and the chance of amplitude breaking in the case of the Potential Embankment. For the E ≈ v_0 case, the two graphs are almost the same shape. The amplitude of E = 61 x 10^39J is more likely to penetrate the potential barrier than E = 59 x 10^39J because the value of E is greater than V_0 so the chance of breaking is greater
