Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce digital teaching materials based STEM on climate change-oriented mathematics subjects in grade V elementary schools. The research was conducted at SDN 100 Palembang. The subjects of the study were 24 students consisting of 16 male students and 8 female students. The type of research is development research. The stages of research using the Rowntree procedure combined with the Tessmer evaluation. Data analysis techniques use analysis of interview results, validation results, questionnaire results and learning outcome tests. The results of this study can be explained: 1) The results of validation by three experts, namely material experts, design and got an average score of 91.67% with a very valid category 2). The practicality test with the percentage of practicality at the one to one stage score obtained 100% of the category is very practical, the small group stage score of which is 87% of the category is very practical 3). The effectiveness of climate change-oriented STEM-based digital teaching materials with data analysis of student pretest questions showed an average of 48.67 while the results of student posttest data analysis increased by an average of 79.33 as evidenced by the N-gain results obtained which was 0.60 in the medium category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the climate change-oriented STEM-based digital teaching material products developed in this study are valid, practical and effective.
