Abstract
Rainfall intensity in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency has high rainfall intensity. Most of the people's work in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is farming, if the intensity of high rainfall can have a negative impact on farmers and plant growth. Therefore, rainfall predictions can be used to determine future rainfall levels in Ogan Komering Ilir District. Rainfall prediction in this study uses the Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) algorithm which can determine the classification in anticipating rainfall patterns. The data used for this study were obtained from the NASA POWER website. The parameters used in this study are rainfall, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, maximum wind speed, minimum wind speed, specific humidity, relative humidity and surface pressure. The resulting accuracy value is 80.64%, the precision value is 80.76% and the recall value is 96.35%.
