Abstract
IOTA is an innovative open-source distributed ledger technology designed to address the challenges posed by the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. Unlike traditional blockchain architectures, IOTA utilizes a unique data structure known as the Tangle, a directed acyclic graph (DAG), to enable feeless and scalable transactions between IoT devices. This paper provides an in-depth exploration of the fundamental principles and mechanisms that underpin IOTA's operation. The Tangle's decentralized consensus model allows each participant to validate and confirm transactions by referencing two previous transactions, resulting in an inherently scalable and efficient network. With its feeless nature, IOTA removes the cost barrier associated with microtransactions, making it well-suited for a wide range of IoT use cases. The proposed method within IOTA weight of calculation will be explained in this study.
