Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Socio Ekonomic Impact of Tin Mining in Berang Village Simpang Teritip District West Bangka Ragency". This research raises the issue of: What are the socio economic impact of tin mining the concept of income, employment, education and environmental conditions bu Suratmo. The type of reserch used is descriptive qualitative research and data colletion techniques in this study are field research by means of interviews, observation and docurgentation. Ther are two sources of data in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that tin mining activities have socio economic impacts both in terms of employment, income and education, have a positive impact on the lives of the surrounding community but have a negative impact on environmental conditions such as soil damage and river flows that become dirty and muddy. keywords: Impecat of Tin Mining, Socio Ekonomic
