Abstract

This study entitled "Development of Audiovisual-Based Learning Media Using Plotagon Story Physical Revolution Material in Musi Rawas in Class XI SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau" contains data regarding the events of the Physical Revolution in Musi Rawas 1947-1949. This research has been implemented in class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau.The purpose of this study is to develop learning media using Plotagon Story which is valid and has an effective impact on history learning at SMAN 2 Lubuklinggau. This research is a development research using the Alessi and Trollip model. The validity of the learning media was validated by three experts, namely material experts, media experts and language experts. Material validity has a value of 4.84 with a very valid category, media validity has a value of 4.30 with a very valid category, language validity has a value of 5.00 with a very valid category. Overall the results of the alpha test get an average value of 4.26 with a very valid category. The effect of audiovisual-based learning media using Plotagon Story for history learning at SMAN 2 Lubuklinggau can be seen in the increase in student learning outcomes before and after using learning media at the field trial stage of 44.65% with an N-gain of 0.72. This shows that audiovisual-based learning media using Plotagon Story material for the Physical Revolution in Musi Rawas in history learning specializing in class XI SMA has a valid and effective value.
