Abstract

This research discusses the promotional activities of district profile run by Public Relations of PALI Regency Government and process done in running the activity. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with aim to describe all condition, situation and what kind of social phenomenon that happened in the society. Data collection methods used were in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. In this study, researcher wanted to identify and describe what happened to public relations management in promoting district profiles through video profiles at the stage of defining PR problems, planning and programming, action and communication, and program evaluation. The result of the research shows that Public Relations of PALI Regency Governmenl has done good public relations management marked by the increasing of visit to tourism object of Bumi Ayu Temple which is the leading tourism object in PALI Regency.
