Abstract

Universitas Sriwijaya merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri yang berada di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Fakta di lapangan saat ini, Universitas Sriwijaya memiliki beberapa fasilitas olahraga yang tersebar baik di kawasan kampus Indralaya maupun kampus Palembang. Namun sayangnya, kondisi dari fasilitas - fasilitas tersebut sebagian besar sangat kurang memadai. Seperti halnya kondisi lapangan-lapangan basket dan futsal yang sudah retak, lapangan lari yang berpasir, dan kurang terawat. Berdasarkan survei terhadap mahasiswa Universitas Sriwijaya, menunjukkan bahwa para mahasiswa memiliki minat yang tinggi terhadap bidang olahraga. Hasil survei menyatakan bahwa cabang olahraga futsal dan badminton merupakan 2 cabang teratas yang mendapat akumulasi jumlah respon terbanyak. Prasarana gedung olahraga masuk dalam kategori sasaran strategis pertama serta rencana pembangunan Universitas Sriwijaya. Gedung olahraga ini dirancang dengan membagi massa menjadi dua zona utama. Berdasar pada dua fungsi cabang olahraga yang ditunjang, yaitu futsal dan badminton. Sehingga dalam pemanfaatannya mampu menunjang kedua kegiatan sekaligus. Gedung olahraga juga dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan standar gedung olahraga nasional. Membuat gedung ini mampu menjadi tuan rumah bagi ajang – ajang keloahragaan nasional. Sriwijaya University is one of the state universities in South Sumatra Province. Current facts on the ground, Sriwijaya University has several sports facilities spread both in the Indralaya campus area and the Palembang campus. But unfortunately, the conditions of these facilities are mostly very inadequate. As is the case with cracked basketball and futsal courts, sandy running fields and poorly maintained. Based on a survey of Sriwijaya University students, it shows that students have a high interest in sports. The survey results stated that futsal and badminton were the top 2 branches that received the most accumulated number of responses. Sports building infrastructure is included in the first strategic target category as well as the development plan of Sriwijaya University. This sports building is designed by dividing the mass into two main zones. Based on the two functions of the supported sports, namely futsal and badminton. So that in its utilization it can support both activities at once. Sports halls are also designed to meet the needs of national sports hall standards. Making this building able to host national sporting events.
