Abstract

The issue of drugs in the form of cultivation, production and smuggling to illegal drug abuse is included in the category of high crime rates in ASEAN. The ASEAN Work Plan on Securing Communities Against Illicit Drugs 2016-2025 is a framework based on a declaration, namely the Joint Declaration on a Drug-Free ASEAN which is an effort made by ASEAN in carrying out its duties in eradicating narcotics in the Southeast Asian region. Indonesia as one of the ASEAN member countries participated in running the framework program. This study uses Andersen's international regime implementation theory which divides the implementation of international regimes into categories namely Input, Output and Impact. The research method used is a qualitative method using official documentation sources. This study shows the actions or policies taken by Indonesia related to drugs in accordance with the seven sections in the ASEAN framework.
