Abstract

Prabumulih is a city that cultivates its own plantation products using the surrounding land by planting selected pineapples. So that farmers produce fresh pineapple fruit different from other cities, therefore, Prabumulih City gets the nickname Pineapple City. Pineapple fruit that can be processed into foods such as, Pineapple cake, Pineapple Dodol and Pineapple chips. It can even be used as a typical souvenir food from Prabumulih City. Therefore, this application can make it easier for consumers to get to know the typical food of Prabumulih City. This research aims to develop an application for the introduction of Prabumulih specialties used as a supporting medium in finding and obtaining information about culinary tourism in Prabumulih. The main technology used in this application is Augmented Reality (AR). In this case, Augmented Reality (AR) in this study succeeded in making an application that can be used by outside communities or application users who visit typical stores in Prabumulih city, easily find information and food locations to choose typical Prabumulih city food. Users of the Marker-based Augmented Reality (AR) application for the introduction of typical food of the city of Prabumulih can be accessed via Android mobile devices so that it is easily accessible anywhere and anytime.
