Abstract

This research examines the social solidarity of the Kasnariansyah apartment community after the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to find out and analyze how social solidarity changes in the community of Kasnariansyah apartment residents after the covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the selection of informants with purposive techniques. The informants in this study amounted to seven people who were residents of Kasnariansyah flats. Data Collection techniques are carried out through the stages of observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the theory of social solidarity from Emile Durkheim. The results of this study show that there are changes in the form of social solidarity experienced by the residents of Kasnariansyah flats before, during and after the pandemic. It was identifed that the form of solidarity of the Kasnariansyah apartment community is mechanical solidarity, where they are united by collective awareness between individuals and there are common goals in facing the pandemic period and when post-pandemic, with several activities carried out in closer cooperation in overcoming the covid-19 pandemic.
