Abstract
Tomato (Licopresicum esculentum Mill) is a fruit plant that belongs to the Solanaceae family which consists of 220 species. The presence of pests and plant diseases is generally characterized by changes in the physiological shape of the leaves. The learning rate used in backpropagation training is 0.01 with iterations of 50, 100, and 250. Software testing uses 2000 testing data with 200 disease labels each and 100 external data with 10 disease labels each. The tests that have been carried out found that the accuracy level of the software Identification of Diseases on Tomato Leaves Using Backpropagation Algorithm is 87.9% for testing data, and 76% for external data.
