Abstract

Sriwijaya University housing consists of three types of student housing, namely Regional Government Dormitories, Rusunawa, and Apartments. But often there are still many residents who complain about the lodging services. As a result, many residents are dissatisfied with the accommodation services. To find out the factors that cause dissatisfaction with the residents of the boarding house, the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Discriminant Analysis methods are used with variables X_1 : Tangible, X_2 : Reliability, X_3 : Responsiveness, X_4 : Assurance and X_5 : Empathy. QFD is a design or planning process method to find out the order of improvement priorities. Discriminant analysis is an analysis to determine the level of satisfaction of the occupants of the accommodation. The results obtained are the top priority for repair of each type of accommodation, namely the improvement of facilities. The discriminant model obtained for the Regional Government Dormitory D=-0,230+0,047X_1-0,014X_2-0,0383X_3+0,055X_4+0,028X_5with a classification accuracy level of 81%, Rusunawa D=-4,085-0,894X_1+0,103X_2+1,135X_3+0,300X_4+0,936X_5 with a classification accuracy level of 85%, Apartment D=- 1,382+0,048X_1 +0,045X_2 +1,241X_3 -0,033X_4 +0,677X_5 with a classification accuracy level 86%. From each type of accommodation to obtain a discriminant model with a high level of classification accuracy, then the discriminant model is good to use.
