Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga nuklir telah diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu alternatif yang menjanjikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa dan potensi bahan bakar Karbida dalam konteks neutronik yang digunakan pada SFR. Proses analisis dilakukan dengan melakukan simulasi menggunakan metode Monte Carlo dan bahasa pemrograman Python melalui perangkat lunak OpenMC yang bersifat open-source. Beberapa parameter analisis neutronik diuji untuk mendapatkan gambaran peforma dari desain teras SFR, termasuk faktor multiplikasi dan tingkat kekritisan, rasio konversi, komposisi material fisil dan fertil, distribusi laju reaksi fisi, serta distribusi fluks neutron.
