Abstract

Penyakit kulit merupakan masalah yang umum terjadi di negara berkembang dan maju. Iklim tropis menjadi penyebab terbesar perkembangbiakan jamur dan virus penyebab penyakit kulit. Untuk mengatasi penyebaran penyakit kulit yang cepat maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pakar yang mampu mendiagnosa penyakit kulit. Pembuatan sistem pakar ini ditujukan agar masyarakat awam dapat mengidentifikasi mandiri dari penyakit kulit. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sistem untuk mengidentifikasi penyakit kulit yaitu menggunakan metode Forward Chaining. Metode ini memliki kelebihan yaitu digunakan penelusuran yang akan dimulai berdasarkan gejala yang ada, sehingga dari informasi-informasi gejala tersebut dapat diketahui apakah penyakit yang diderita . Dari hasil pengujian, metode Forward Chaining didapatkan hasil persentase akurasi yaitu sebesar 100% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Forward Chaining baik dalam mendiagnosa penyakit.
