Abstract
ABSTRACT Background: Base on Alma Ata Declaration (WHO, 1978), the approach of health development was public health especially community participation. The objectives this paper is to analysis the role of kader posyandu in village health development and what effort was needed to increase participation of kader posyandu in health development Results: According to the review found many challenges that cause participation of kader posyandu such level of education, knowledge, training & development, incentives, type of work, the participation of kader with other organizations and the importance participation management to increase kader involvement in village health development. Conclussions: should did effectively kader posyandu capacity building (education, training and development, incentives) so they have power and practitioner commitment to coaching and consulting and stakeholders support. Keywords: Participatif Management, Kader Posyandu, Health Development. ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Sesuai dengan deklarasi Alma Ata tahun 1978 salah satu pendekatan dalam pembangunan kesehatan adalah pendekatan kesehatan masyarakat melalui partisipasi masyarakat. Tujuan makalah ini adalah untuk mengkaji peran aktif kader posyandu dalam pembangunan kesehatan di desa dan upaya apa yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi kader Hasil: berdasarkan hasil telaah ditemukan banyak kendala yang menghambat keaktifan kader posyandu seperti tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan, pelatihan pengembangan, incentives dan jenis pekerjaan, keikutsertaan kader dengan organisasi lain dan pentingnya manajemen partisipasi untuk meningkatakan partisipasi kader posyandu. Kesimpulan: Sebaiknya dilakukan capacity building yang lebih efektif (pendidikan, pelatihan dan incentive) terhadap kader posyandu sehingga kader posyandu mempunyai daya (power) dan komitmen para praktisi untuk melakukan pembinaan dan konsultasi dan dukunagan stakeholders.
