Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to determine the effect of compensation, career development, and job descriptions on employee performance at PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Regional 1 Zone 4 Adera Field. The population in this study were all permanent employees of 818 employees. Based on calculations using the Slovin formula, the sample in this study was 107 permanent employees at PT. Pertamina Hulu Rokan Zone 4, all functions in the field consist of the functions of Petroleum Engineering, Production Operations, Well Service, Reability Availability & Maintenance (RAM), HSSE, as well as SCM supporting functions, and Finance. The results of multiple linear analyses show that compensation, career development, and job des have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Compensation, it is hoped that the company's management can provide an evaluation regarding the distribution of salary components given according to the level of education of employees. Career development, it is hoped that employee's education level will become one of the most important things in assigning duties and responsibilities. Job des, it is hoped that all employees at PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Regional 1 Zone 4 Adera Field can understand all the rules and policies that are regulations that must be obeyed. PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Regional 1 Zone 4 must be able to make adjustments to the employee's educational level regarding the compensation and job descriptions assigned to employees, including the clarity of the job descriptions given to employees to improvee employee performance
