Abstract

According to the Cabinet Office Website by the Government of Japan, Digital Society 5.0 is a human-centered society that integrates between cyberspace and physical space with the resolution of economic advancement to solve social problems. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Bangunan Gedung (SIMBG) is an electronic system based on the website by Director General of Human Settlement Ministry of Public Work for helping Local Government/Municipal Administration to organizing building in their area more orderly, transparent and effective and coordinated between related regional devices for it to become clearer. This research aims to find the problems and solutions to implement SIMBG for reaching Digital Society 5.0. The research method using qualitative according to Aspers, P & Corte, U is based on understanding of the phenomena to be interpreted so the result will come in the form of descriptive data. Using data analysis technique with descriptive qualitative according to it consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions and verification (Miles&Huberman). Data collection in this research was conducted using the literature study that consists of books, previous research, websites, and regulations that support in making conclusions of the problem being discussed at the end of the research. The result of this research is one of the steps on SIMBG to reaching Digital Society 5.0 in Palembang City which is the retribution calculations based on the Join Circular issued by 4 ministries, is not appropriate with Article 7 of Law No. 12 of 2011 about Legislation Making, which should be based on local regulation.
