Abstract
Steel is one of the most commonly used construction materials due to its ease of manufacturing, cost-effectiveness, and versatility. It can be shaped into various profiles, including Honeycomb and Kingcross profiles, which will be utilized in this final project. The Honeycomb profile is used to design beams with a honeycomb-like opening shape that provides high structural strength while being lightweight. On the other hand, the Kingcross profile is used for designing columns with equal stiffness in both x and y directions. The building structure model was created using SAP2000 software based on appropriate dimensions and specifications. An analysis was then conducted on the model to evaluate its structural behavior. The results of this analysis showed that the use of honeycomb beams in the beams resulted in good structural efficiency by combining high strength with low weight. Additionally, employing kingcross columns provided additional stability to the building's structural system. Furthermore, a manual evaluation was performed on the building structure model to ensure that it complied with relevant standards (SNI) and references. In conclusion, analyzing the building structure using honeycomb beams and kingcross columns through SAP2000 software demonstrated potential for enhancing construction efficiency and optimizing seismic response of the structure
