Abstract

Final project research using fuzzy logic method was conducted in Pancurmas Unit Jaya and surrounding areas, Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatra Province. It has a morphology of low hills to high hills with gentle slopes to very steep slopes so that several landslides were encountered during field observations that disrupted road access to the village. The study is intended to identify the level of landslide vulnerability and analyze the spread of landslide vulnerability using a quantitative approach in the form of simple mathematical equations processed through a computational system carried out using fuzzy logic methods. The parameters used in this study include morphological elevation, slope slope, rock type, soil type, rainfall, and land cover. The results of data analysis with computational processing through software in the form of ArcGIS show that the study area has 3 classes of potential landslide vulnerability which are divided into low vulnerability with a distribution area of 12,576 Km2 or 34%, then a medium vulnerability level with a distribution area of 51,306 Km2 or 52%, and a high vulnerability level with a distribution area of 17,118 Km2 or 14%.
