Abstract

DSSC adalah sel surya fotoelektrokimia sehingga menggunakan elektrolit sebagai media transport muatan. Dye yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ekstrak daun dan ekstrak daun eceng gondok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah isolasi, non isolasi penambahan satu kali iodin, dan non isolasi penambahan iodin setiap hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh isolasi dan non isolasi penambahan satu kali iodin terhadap umur Penggunaan DSSC menggunakan ekstrak tumbuhan eceng gondok. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biosistem, Jurusan Teknologi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2023 sampai Juni 2023. parameter yang di gunakan yaitu pengukuran absorbansi klorofil daun eceng gondok dan absorbansi dye antosianin bunga eceng gondok, pengukuran arus dan tegangan, perhitungan daya, pengukuran fill factor, perhitungan efisiensi DSSC, dan lama umur penggunaan rangkaian DSSC. DSSC BEG isolasi, mampu bertahan dan menghasilkan arus dan tegangan selama 7 hari sedangkan, DSSC BEG non isolasi hanya bertahan 2 hari. DSSC DEG isolasi mampu bertahan dan menghasilkan arus dan tegangan selama 6 hari sedangkan DSSC DEG non isolasi hanya bertahan 2 hari. DSSC bunga dan daun eceng gondok yang di tambahkan iodin setiap hari sebelum pengukuran dapat bertahan 14 hari bahkan lebih.
