Abstract

Load balancing is a technique used in a network environment to distribute traffic evenly and efficiently among multiple servers. Nginx is a popular web server and reverse proxy for implementing load balancing. Docker, on the other hand, is a platform that allows developers to package, distribute, and run applications in containers. This study aims to implement load balancing using the Nginx web server by utilizing the Docker platform. This implementation can increase the availability, scalability, and performance of web applications by distributing workloads among multiple Nginx instances running in a Docker Container. The experimental method is carried out by configuring several Nginx containers as a backend server and one Nginx container as a reverse proxy/load balancing..
