Abstract

Banyuasin is an area that ranks second after Palembang in cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever. So it is necessary to do research related to the factors that influence the incidence of dengue fever. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was Purposive Sampling with a total sample of 110. The analysis technique for this research was carried out using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods using SPSS with chi-square test and multiple logistic regression. The data is then presented in tabular form and interpreted. The results of the multivariate analysis found that water reservoirs were the dominant variable for the incidence of DHF (p-0.018) with a PR value of 13,178 (1,546-112,347). The conclusion of this study that is related to the incidence of DHF is the water storage variable. . It is recommended to increase the PSN movement to reduce the transmission rate of DHF.
