Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kausalitas tingkat ketimpangan pendapatan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi pada provinsi-provinsi di Pulau Jawa. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi Causality Granger dengan waktu pengamatan data dari tahun 2012-2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketimpangan ekonomi berdasarkan angka Gini Rasio tidak menyebabkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Ketimpangan ekonomi yang terjadi di Pulau Jawa relatif dapat disebabkan oleh faktor pendidikan, pengangguran, ketimpangan penguasaan lahan dan faktor lainnya
