Abstract

Stunting is a condition of chronic malnutrition starting from the first 1000 days of life so that children who experience developmental and growth disorders that are not in accordance with normal age limits can be seen. Health services are one of the indirect factors that can affect the nutritional status of children. Every effort that is carried out either individually or jointly in an organization to maintain and improve health, prevent, cure and recover from personal, family, group or community disease. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the utilization of health services regarding the incidence of stunting in Ogan Ilir District. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design. The data for this study used secondary data from PBL 2022 data. The sample in this study was 1001 respondents who utilized health services who were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The univariate results showed that 92,5% of the respondents used health services. The bivariate results in this study showed that the variable level of education (p-value <0.314), income (p-value >0,033), access distance (p-value <0,068), feeding infants and children (p-value <0,827) has an insignificant relationship to the utilization of health services regarding the incidence of stunting. Therefore, it is hoped that the government can improve skills and knowledge both from the side of health workers and the community, by providing training to health workes to increase knowledge.
