Abstract
The use of the Internet of Things (IoT) has been growing, starting from industry, education, to everyday life. Using the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) can make it easier to solve various kinds of problems that develop in human life. One of the problems is noise, noise can interfere with human activities. Departing from this problem, the Internet of Thing (IoT) concept is used in places that are prone to noise in order to provide information whether the noise level is in accordance with the standard noise standard stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Environment (KepMenLH) No. 48 of 1996. To detect noise, the ESP32 is used as a microcontroller and noise meter. In addition, the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method is also used to detect noise based on data obtained from the hardware used
