Abstract

Psychosocial disability is a condition where a person experiences problems both physically and mentally, people with psychosocial disabilities certainly experience difficulties in carrying out activities to meet their daily needs. This study aims to look at the implementation of the coaching and care program for women with psychosocial disabilities at the Mutiara Muara Enim Foundation, which consists of health caregiver programs and religious caregivers. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interview techniques, participatory observation (observation), and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the caregiver program for women with psychosocial disabilities at the Mutiara Muara Enim Foundation was divided into two, namely health caregiver activities such as consultations with psychiatric specialists, self-care (eating, drinking, and bathing), community service, and gymnastics which aims to help train motor nerves and help improve physical or physical fitness in women with psychosocial and disabilities. Religious caregiver activities such as lectures, reciting the Koran, memorizing daily prayers, and learning how to pray and perform ablutions which aim to help improve the mentality and behavior of women with psychosocial disabilities who are disturbed. The implementation of the health caregiver program and the religious caregiver program at the Mutiara Foundation aims to help improve the mental health of women with psychosocial disabilities who have gone through five processes including acceptance, assessment, physical guidance, mental and social guidance, and termination. This activity helps women with psychosocial disabilities improve their mental health and return to their daily activities and activities as usual when carrying out activities back in society.
