Abstract

Perencanaan Kolam Penampungan Sementara ini dilakukan di komplek perumahan Selayur Jaya Palembang yang berlokasi di Jalan Mayor Zen Palembang dan berlangsung dari bulan September 2005 sampai dengan Bulan Ji.iuari 2006. Data-data yang diperlukan dalam perencanaan Kolam \etensi ini adalah curah hujan, karena sumber air utama bagi umat manusia dalam melalukan aktifitas kehidupan sehari-hari adalah hujan. Hujan juga merupakan parameter hidrologi yang paling penting, keadaan tanah serta kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Dalam perhitungan curah hujan digunakan 4 metode analisis frekuensi yaitu Distribusi Normal, Log Normal, Lor Pearson ill dan Gumbel. Setelah diadakan test distr'nisi dengan metode Chi k adrat ternyata metode Log; Pearson Type III penyimpangannya paling kecil, jadi untuk perhitungan selanjutnya digunakan data dari L.og Pearson IIi. Kolam retensi ini berbentuk lingkaran.Terdiri dari 2 buah kolam, kolam 1 untuk pengendapan partikel partikel kasar , kolam 2 untuk penampungan air dan pengendapan partikel partikel halus.
