Abstract

One of the good health services is to provide safety and security for patients, especially in health facilities such as hospitals, so that the service is of high quality and quality, it is important to implement patient safety supported by the interpersonal skills of nurses so that it provides enormous benefits. In implementing patient safety. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, with the formulation of the problem of how to apply the policy and identify the supporting or inhibiting factors in its implementation Patient Safety through the interpersonal relationship skills of nurses in the inpatient room of the Sekayu Regional General Hospital. Qthe aim of this research to know and describe, and identify inhibiting and supporting factors implementation Patient Safety through the interpersonal relationship skills of nurses in the inpatient room of the Sekayu Regional General Hospital. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of patient safety policies through the interpersonal relationship skills of nurses in the inpatient rooms of the Sekayu Regional General Hospital has not been maximized, there is a lack of staff compliance in implementing SPO, there is still a lack of interest from nurses in understanding the rules, guidelines and work hierarchy vertically. , facilities and infrastructure have not all been realized. There is still a need for periodic monitoring and evaluation, continuous outreach to improve nurse competence in interpersonal skills in serving patients, managerial support (Director) in terms of implementing Rewards and Punishment.
