Abstract

This thesis is entitled the change of Tradisional Market Plaju Ilir in 2008-2016. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the impact of the changes in the tradisional Plaju Ilir market on traders, and to find out the development of the tradisional Plaju Ilir market from 2008-2016. The research method used is the historical method. Historical methods have several steps, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and, historiography, geographical, on October 16, 2008 the tradisional Plaju Ilir market was inaugurated by the Palembang Mayor, Mr. Ir. H. Eddy Santana Putra, MT. This market was built so that traders who sell on the side of the road to enter the market. With the move of traders it is expected that the road conditions will not occur anymore and buyers will be easy to shop because in the market traders are grouped according to the tpe of sale they sell. The negativ impact felt by traders due to market changes is very expensive stall rental money, while the positive impact of traders is grouped into one place according to the type of sale they sell.
