Abstract

Curah hujan mempunyai pengaruh terhadap daur hidrologi, dan daur ini berguna sebagai titik awal untuk mempelajari hidrologi. Salah satunya adalah perhitungan intensitas curah hujan dalam beberapa periode ulang dengan data curah hujan harian maksimum jangka pendek daerah Kenten. Pengukuran curah hujan dapat diukur dengan mempergunakan alat pengukur hujan (ram gauge) baik dengan menggunakan alat ukur atau secara dicatat. Data-data yang didapat kemudian dikelompokkan dalam suatu perhitungan distribusi probabilitas dengan menggunakan tipe distribusi yang ada, perhitungan persamaan intensitas curah hujan yang didapat harus sesuai dengan standar parameter statistik. Dalam skripsi ini digunakan rumus Talbot yang telah baku, hasil rumus tersebut dibandingkan untuk mencari deviasi atau simpangan yang terkecil dimana intensitas curah hujan yang paling cocok. Dari hasil analisis distribusi curah hujan untuk daerah Kenten mengikuti kombinasi dua pola distribusi yaitu distribusi Normal serta distribusi Log Person 111, sedangkan semakin lama periode ulang curah hujan yang direncanakan maka intensitas curah hujan yang akan terjadi semakin besar.
