Abstract
The acceieration of the velocity of money is the average number of times per year (rotation) of one unit of currency used to buy the total goods and services produced in the economy. Electronic Money "(stored-value or prepaid product where a certain amount of money is stored in an electronic medfa owned by a person) This study aims to determine the relationship between electronic money demand and the acceleration of the velocity of money in lndonesia. The type of this research is descriptive research. Based on data type, this research uses quantitative data. Data analysis using simple regression analysis technique, the data used is data volume of electronic 1noney demand and acceleration of velocity of money in Indonesia in 20 IO until 2017 in quaiter. This research uses data collection technique of documentation or secondary data. The result of the research shows that the contribution of e-money is still relatively small, the average amount of growth is still 12% of the total JUB from 20 IO to 2017. This shows that economic actors are still not using e-money.
