Abstract

PT Triaryani plans to mine coal with a stripping ratio value close to one (1) until the end of mine 2023. So it is necessary to plan for mining design and scheduling per quarter to achieve this planning target. This study aims to plan a mining sequence that includes the capabilities and requirements of loading and unloading equipment, as well as a mining scheduling plan. Mining scheduling begins with the calculation of reserves in the Minescape 5.7 software, which is then scheduled by selecting mining blocks by trial and error and evaluated in the Spry 1.5 software, so that coal production is obtained with a stripping ratio value set by the company, which is close to 1 (one). The research produced a plan for mining stages in 2023 with a total of 2,391,031 BCM of overburden, 2.006.358 tons of coal with a stripping ratio of 1.19. The dumping area is planned to be designed based on the level geometry that has been permitted by PT Triaryani, namely with a height of 10 meters and a width of 30 meters, so that a capacity of 2.033.569 CCM is produced in the final quarter of 2023. Overburden stripping and coal-getting activities use 4 mining equipment fleets: 4 Caterpillar 330 excavator unit and 4 Hino 500 FM 260 dump trucks for coal, and 4 Caterpillar 345 excavator unit and 5 Quester CWE 280 dump trucks for overburden.
