Abstract
This study aims to design and determine the working system of controlling a hand tractor with a remote control so that it can make it easier for farmers to operate the tractor. This research was carried out from May 2023 to July 2023 in Ulak Kerbau Baru Village, Tanjung Raja District, Ogan ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. This study used an observation method in the form of data collection by library research and direct field observations. Parameters observed included system response, straight motion of the hand tractor, response speed, tool stability, and action. The results showed that the accuracy of the control functions normally with a value of 1, the average value of the right brake handle response time is 9.74 seconds, the left brake handle is 8.03 seconds, the system response on the gas leverat every angle is 0.53, 0.76, 0.78, 1.0, with an average of 0.77 seconds, the response speed results are 0.47 on the right brake handle and 0.59 on the left brake handle, the stability of the tool at a distance of 30-270 meters can still be connected and at a distance of 300 meters cannot be connected, giving action has a minimum length of 3 cm and a maximum length of 9 cm.
