Abstract
Crumb Rubber Concrete is a mixture consisting of sand mixed with rubber, crushed stone or other aggregates mixed together with a paste made of cement and water to form a rock-like mass. Concrete is a composite material (mixture) and several materials whose main ingredients consist of a mixture of fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water and/or no other added ingredients in certain proportions. The strength of concrete at a certain age depends on the ratio of the weight of water and the weight of cement in the concrete mixture. This research uses variations in the use of crumb rubber (crumb rubber) of 5%, 10% and 15% of the volume of fine aggregate. The test object in this study was cylindrical with dimensions of 15 cm x 30 cm. Compressive strength testing was carried out at the age of 7, 14, 28 days and the crumb rubber was given oven heating treatment for 24 hours.
