Abstract
The development of construction planning legislation in Indonesia is currently growing well, with improvements in each of the rules of construction Science is also getting richer. Regulation of PBI-1971 contains two methods that are used in it are prinsip-prinsip cara-n and prinsip-prinsip kekuatan batas, although it has two methods of planning, but in his time prinsip-prinsip cara-n of PBI-1971 is widely used, the principles of the most widely applied in construction planning. The principles of planning emphasizing n-factor associated with the value of 'n’. While the principles of the power line into altemative methods. Since the known rules of SNI-2002, PBI-1971 regulations began slowly abandoned, especially now also has a lot of developing Software that can simplify planning regulations refer to ISO-2002. In this rule there are two known methods with metode alternatif teori elastisitas and ultimate strength design (USD). In this regulation method ultimate strength design (USD) to be the main method that is often used, while metode alternatif teori elastisitas into altemative methods. Basically these two rules differ quite a lot, ranging ffom the imposition of up to a factor used for each existing formula. However, by knowing the ratio of the moment capacity of the moment due to the load resistance, we can see and know the difference owned by each method in each of the rules, but we can not determine which method is the best, because in general, each method has advantages and deficiency. By knowing the advantages and disadvantages we can determine good construction planning, efficient, and safe.
