Abstract

Warm mix asphalt is an asphalt mix technology that requires a lower temperature than hot mix asphalt, thereby reducing fuel requirements but still has the same quality as hot mix asphalt so it is enviromentally friendly. The research method is an experiment in the laboratory using three asphalt variants; oil asphalt, rubber asphalt, and buton asphalt where each variations of asphalt is added with wax and zeolite and also used fly ash as a filler subtitution and bottom ash as a sand subtitution. From the results of the marshall parameter test, it was found that the oil asphalt mixture AC-BC with the addition of zeolite had the lowest optimum asphalt content value, so this type of mixture was more efficient in the use of asphalt. The highest stability and MQ values were obtained by oil asphalt mixture AC-BC with fly ash and bottom ash with the addition of wax, with stability value is 1189.34 kg an MQ value is 406.85 kg/mm.
