Abstract
The height of stunting for toddlers in Indonesia a problem that must be addressed. The growth monitoring program as of the specific intervention indicators that is regularly carried out for. In 2019, the achievement of this program was 73.86%, and didn’t reach the government’s target of 80%. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the growth monitoring program through stunting specific interventions of toddlers in Ogan Ilir Regency. This study used a qualitative method, explained in a research onion based on the CIPP evaluation model by Stufflebeam. There were 16 informants with selection criteria of suitability, sufficiency, and data saturation. The data taken from May to June 2023 in the stunting locus area of the Tanjung Batu, Payaraman, and Indralaya Health Centers. The data were collected by using deep interviews, non-participatory observation and document review, then the data were analyzed thematically. The results of the research on context evaluation in implementation, objectives, and program factors have been conducted, but the constraints are that toddlers have not met the target and the habits of mothers to the children. In the input evaluation, there were sufficient funds and infrastructure, recording and reporting technology used a community-based nutrition application, adequate and appropriate human resources, however, there was only one nutritionist at Tanjung Batu and Payaraman Health Center. The process evaluation of the program has been carried out once a month by cadres at integrated service posts, then recorded according to guidelines and standard operating procedures. Finally, the product evaluation of the growth monitoring program reached the target of 90% at Tanjung Batu Health Center, while the other two were still below target. The achievements were evaluated through mini workshops every month, and follow-up plans were carried out. It could be concluded that the growth monitoring program for toddlers is regularly done according to the guidebook for cadres and officers at the integrated service post. Recommendations for public health centers include strategizing the time, place, and providing gifts to encourage mothers to come of integrated service posts.
