Abstract

Pondasi tiang pancang merupakan bagian dari struktur bawah yang digunakan untuk menerima dan menyalurkan beban dari struktur atas ke tanah penunjang yang terletak pada kedalaman tertentu. Pada saat ini, penggunaan pondasi tiang pancang dalam konstruksi semakin pesat, hal ini dikarenakan kemudahan dalam pelaksanaan dan efisiensi terhadap waktu dan biaya. Tiang pancang merupakan salah satu solusi sistem pondasi yang tepat dalam mengatasi daya dukung tanah yang rendah ataupun letak dari tanah keras yang dalam sehingga tidak memungkinkan penggunaan pondasi konvensional. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang pengaruh variasi jarak antar tiang terhadap daya dukung tiang kelompok pada tanah lempung lunak dengan cara pengujian laboratorium. Tahapan-tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi studi literatur, pekerjaan lapangan, pengujian laboratorium, pengujian benda uji dan analisa hasil. Dari hasil penelitian di dapatkan nilai daya dukung tiang maksimum untuk konfigurasi 2 tiang yaitu pada jarak 2d. Sedangkan untuk konfigurasi 4 tiang, nilai daya dukung maksimumnya yaitu pada jarak 3d.
