Abstract

In distance learning at Vocational High School Number 1 of South Indralaya, students learn from home and if there is a limited practice schedule, students come to school. In learning from home, the majority of students use their own smartphones so that online/brave learning can be carried out quite well because in some areas it is still quite difficult to get a signal. As a step that is believed to be able to overcome the problems is the development of media in the form of interactive multimedia online. Researchers aim to develop Interactive Multimedia that is valid, practical and can improve student learning outcomes. The research was carried out in several stages, namely the planning, design and development stages. Researchers make storyboards for research needs and things that will be included in interactive multimedia. Then after that the researcher carried out the design stages using the SmartApp Creator software. The results of the development process state that the interactive multimedia of the electric motor installation is very valid with a score of 4.24. Furthermore, based on the overall average results of the Beta test results, an r value of 3.87 is obtained in the practical category. The results of the pretest and posttest conducted on electric motor installation learning after using interactive multimedia were declared effective in the learning process by showing an increase in learning outcomes of 14% of the average value and an N-gain score of 0.4 which was included in the medium category.
