Abstract

Lokasi penelitian pada daerah aliran sungai (DAS) salah satu saluran utama yang ada di kota Palembang. Penelitian DAS Sekanak disimulasikan atau dimodelingkan dengan menggunakan bantuan program Hec-Ras. Data-data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah curah hujan jam-jaman wilayah Kenten, cross section, dan data pasang surut. Curah hujan yang didapat dalam bentuk harian, kemudian didistribusikan menjadi jam-jaman dengan menggunakan RumusMononobe untuk menghitung hidrograf debit sebagai batas hulu sungai. Sebelumnya eurah hujan didistribusikan terlebih dahulu untuk menghitung eurah hujan periode ulang 25 tahun. Selanjutnya data pasang surut berupajam-jaman didistribusikan untuk menghitung periode ulang 25 tahun guna sebagai batas hilir sungai. Kondisi batas hulu dan kondisi batas hilir yang ditelah dihitung digunakan dalam program Hec-Ras, guna mengetahui elevasi dan fluktuasi sungai pada saat terjadi pasang tinggi dan terjadi debit banjir yang besar. Dengan menganalisis menggunakan program Hec-Ras, dapat diketahui apabila terjadi genangan banjir pada daerah tertentu dan dalam waktu tertentu.
