Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Quality of Service to Patients of Class I of the Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) at the Central General Hospital Dr. Mohammad Hoesin, Palembang City". This study aimed to determine the quality of service for the Patients of Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin, Palembang city. This study used the theory of the quality of service according to Kotler. It has 5 dimensions which are physical evidence, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance. The research method used was a quantitative method. The types of data used were primary and secondary. The data was collected using a questionnaire method which was distributed to 100 respondents who were the families of the patients of the Class I of the Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin, Palembang City. The data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive analysis using the interval method with the data analysis formula used according to Sudrajat. The criteria in this study as the categorization of the results of the intervals is used as a benchmark in the results of the research. It is used with the problem of the study which used interval technique. In this study Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang City hospital has provided good service was based on the average calculation of all the dimensions from the results of the recapitulation of quality of service. The quality of service for Class 1 of the Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (BPJS Kesehatan) at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Kota Palembang weighs 412 which means it is in the good service quality category.
