Abstract

Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) is a movement of networks or groups of citizens at the community level who work in a coordinated manner to achieve child protection goals. The aim of this research is to find out and understand the role of Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) activists in preventing child violence in Kalidoni Village, Palembang City. The research method used is qualitative description. Data collection in research was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that activities carried out by Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) activists have a role in preventing child violence in Kalidoni Village, consisting of activities for children, activities for parents and activities for the community. Then the obstacles experienced by Community Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) activists in their efforts are that the community and families are still hesitant in reporting acts of violence and the lack of budget funds for Community Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) activities.
