Abstract

Kebutuhan akan beton membuat manusia dituntut untuk berinovasi dalam menciptakan beton dengan mutu yang baik. Abu batu saat ini merupakan bahan hasil sampingan dalam industri pemecahan batu yang jumlahnya tidak sedikit. Pada penelitian ini, abu batu digunakan sebagai pengganti sebagian pasir dan akan dibuat perbandingan kuat tekan dan modulus elastisitas beton. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang pengaruh penggunaan abu batu yang telah dicuci sebagai pengganti sebagian pasir terhadap kuat tekan beton dengan variasi persentase abu batu cuci. Tahapan-tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi studi literatur, persiapan material, pengujian material, pengujian benda uji dan analisa hasil. Hasil pengujian di laboratorium menunjukkkan bahwa beton dengan penggunaan abu batu cuci sebanyak 5% sebagai pengganti sebagian pasir dalam campuran beton mengalami peningkatan kuat tekan antara 6,09% 11,11%, 11,99% hingga 21,77% dari beton normal dan semakin besar kuat tekan beton, maka semakin besar nilai modulus elastisitasnya.
