Abstract
This final task is discussed about modification on the main span of the duplication bridge Musi II Palembang using PCI Girder pre-stressed beams as the upper structure in the span on main bridge of Musi II Palembang. The purpose of this modification is to rnake PCI Girder beam as akemative plans. The PCI Girder beam spans is 40 m and will be made into 6 segments, that is 3 segments in the upslrearn and 3 segments on the downstream. This plan starts with collecting the necessary data such as plan drawings. Then followed by an explanation of the background, objectives formulation, discussion and the basics which refers to the imposition regulatory of bridge RSNI 02-2005, BMS 1992 and SNI T-12-2004. Afterwards, can only be determine the dimensions of the main bridge. Calculation of the secondary structures is done in the first step of planning such as railling poles, and sidewalks that will be used to analyze the load. The load analysis such as dead load, additional dead load, traffic as well as to the time effects of shrinkage and creep so that the value of pre-stressed force that occurs will be obtained. From the analysis result, the next step is stress control that occurs in structure, strength calculation, and structure stability. The end of this analysis is obtaining the shape and dimension of PCI Girder beam span that could hold load on the bridge, in order to get a safe bridge structure.
