Abstract
This study aimed to determine the Effect Of Employee’s Compensation and Cometence on Performance with Work Discipline as Employee Intervening Variables at PT Duta Jaya Bakti Bersama Palembang. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a population of 115 people so that the total sample was 115 employees of PT Duta Jaya Bakti Bersama Palembang. Data processing used Structural Eduation Modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS program. The results showed that compensation had no direct effect on Employee Performance on Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable, while Competence had a direct effect on Employee Performance on Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable. It can be concluded that compensation had no significant effect on work discipline of employees at PT Duta Jaya Bakti Bersama Palembang. It is recommended for the company to further improve employee performance by paying attention to compensation, competency , not only through salary payments but is necessary to provide incentives or bonuses in achieving targets setby the company, while for competence it is necessary to organize education and training (Training) for each job in the company and pay attention to employee work discipline.
