Abstract
Concrete was previously utilized in civil contruction for a /ong time. as stmctural concrele ancl also non structural concrete to fiilfill civilization needed in contruction for advance the civilization. concrele has high specific gravity. that make the dead load even bigger. in order to reduce weight of unit and increase workabilty of concrete. This research is the analysis of affecting utilizing styrofoam. as subslitution from fine aggregates to structural or non structural concrete. with admixture of Conplast WP421. This research is to analyse the affecting of utilized varia t ion volumed 25%. 50%. and 75% of styrofoam as substitusion from fine aggregates. Conplast WP421 was added i n concrete styrofoam from the same variaton volumed of the substitution from fine aggregates with recommended dosage by the company seiler. This research w e re using 15x15x15 mm o f cubes sample. and compressive strenght plan or mixing formula are K 250. K 300. K 350. The higher styrofoam was substitudes.the lower compressive strenght will be. therefore with Conplast WP421 can increase the compressive strenght when i t was added t o styrofoam concretes. The relevance of concrete compressive strenght between weight of unit quality plan on K 250. K 300. K 350. K 350 with substitudes of 25% styrofoam from fine aggregates and add with Conplast WP421 up to concrete qualitv K 250 which is has the compressive strenght 260.59 Kg cm2 isn 7 under 20 Mpa (SNI 03-2847-2002) bu t up to 21.6 Mpa. The weight of unit from normal concrete K 250 is 2314.37 Kg m5 instead K ^'Vri^OK ‘ tUC*eS 250/0 Styrofoom anci mix with conPlost WP42I becomes lighter which
