Abstract

PT Triaryani is a company engaged in coal mining located in the Nibung District and Rawas Ilir District, North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. The 7 km mining road from the coal stockpile at PT Triaryani to the intermediate coal stockpile of PT Gorby Putra Utama has an important role in supporting the productivity of coal transportation activities. Road geometry that does not meet the standards and poor road quality makes the productivity of the conveyance decrease, so it does not reach the coal production target per month. The purpose of this research is to evaluate and recommend road geometry and haul road quality in accordance with AASHTO and URCI against dump truck travel time standards as an effort to increase coal production to reach the monthly target. The quality value of the coal haul road at PT Triaryani in segments 1 to 6 is 58-66 so that the road quality value is categorized as good, while segment 7 is 49 so that the road quality value is categorized as fair. There are 41 road geometry segments consisting of 26 straight roads and 15 bends. Straight road widths are between 6.46-12.5 meters and 6.563-13.72 on curves. Superelevation is between 0.016-0.084 meters with bend radii ranging from 41.86-172.62 meters. Road grade from between 0.084-7.079%. Based on the calculation of road geometry using AASHTO provisions, there are still many that do not meet the standards. Cycle time of the dump truck before repair is 36.8 minutes, while for after repair is 13,41 minutes in a loaded state and 10,63 minutes in an empty state, so that the total time obtained is 30,6 minutes. If improvements are made, coal production will increase by 16,93%. PT. Triaryani merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pertambangan batubara yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Nibung dan Kecamatan Rawas Ilir, Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Jalan tambang yang jarak 7 km dari stockpile batubara di PT Triaryani menuju intermediete stockpile batubara PT Gorby Putra Utama memiliki peranan penting dalam menunjang produktivitas kegiatan pengangkutan batubara. Geometri jalan yang tidak memenuhi standar dan kualitas jalan yang kurang baik membuat produktivitas alat angkut menurun, sehingga tidak mencapai target produksi batubara per bulannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengevaluasi dan merekomendasikan geometri jalan dan kualitas jalan angkut sesuai dengan standar AASHTO dan URCI terhadap waktu travel dump truck sebagai upaya meningkatkan produksi batubara agar mencapai target per bulannya. Nilai kualitas jalan angkut batubara di PT Triaryani pada segmen 1 sampai 6 yaitu 58-66 sehingga nilai kualitas jalan dikategorikan good (baik), sedangkan segmen 7 yaitu 49 sehingga nilai kualitas jalan dikategorikan fair. Geometri jalan terdapat 41 segmen yang terdiri 26 jalan lurus dan 15 tikungan. Lebar jalan lurus antara 6,46-12,5 meter dan 6.563-13.72 pada jalan tikungan. Superelevasi antara 0.016-0,084 meter dengan jari-jari tikungan mulai dari 41.86-172.62 meter. Grade jalan dari antara 0,084-7,079%. Berdasarkan perhitungan geometri jalan menggunakan ketentuan AASHTO masih banyak yang belum memenuhi standar. Cycle time dump truck sebelum perbaikan adalah 36,8 menit, sedangkan untuk setelah perbaikan adalah 13,41 menit dalam keadaan bermuatan dan 10,63 menit dalam keadaan kosong, sehingga didapatkan waktu totalnya adalah 30,6 menit. Apabila dilakukannya perbaikan, maka produksi batubara akan meningkat sebanyak 16,93 %.
