Abstract

The purpose of this research were to: (1) Describe and measure the application of agribusiness system on corn farming in Telang Sari Village Tanjung Lago Subdistrict. (2) Calculate the income of corn farmingin Telang Sari Village Tanjung Lago Subdistrict. (3) Analyze correlation between the application of agribusiness system with corn farming income. (4) Analyze what are the factors affecting between the application of agribusiness system with corn farming income in Telang Sari Village Tanjung Lago Subdistrict, Data collection at research location has been done in Telang Sari village Tanjung Lago Subdistrict. The method used in this research was survey and direct interview. The Sampling method used in this research was simple randomsampling. Data collected in this research are primary and secondary data. The results showed that (1) The application of agribusiness system on corn farming in Telang Sari Village Tanjung Lago Subdistrict belong to the enough criteria. (2) Corn farmers income with average score Rp20.864.417per acreage per planting season.(3)Subsystem agribusiness that have the significant correlation between corn farming income was marketing subsystem , while that not significant correlation were input production subsystem, cultivating (on farm) subsystem, and output subsystem. (4) The factors that significant affecting between the application of agribusiness system with corn farming income in Telang Sari Village Tanjung Lago Subdistrict were total production, processing of a half finished products, and selling price. While, the factors that not significant affecting were seed prices, fertilizer prices, used of seeds, and used of fertilizers.
