Abstract

Tidal is a phenomenon of the movement of the ups and downs of the surface of the water periodically, the high tide is veiy influential on tlie discharge and water profile on the River Musi, in the musi river flow there are tributaries river rush, ogan river, gerong river. The purpose of this study was to analyze the profile of the water table due to low tide, calculate the water profile using HEC-RAS version 4.1.0 and use the Standard step method as well as comparing the water profile profile ffoin botli. This study begins with a review to tlie field to determine the existing State and take data in the form of cross-section of river and flow velocity. Calculation analysis begins by calculating the area by the regression method and tlien calculating the discharge, then done the calculation of water profile using HEC-RAS program. After that done the calculation of water profile using Standard step method and conducted comparison of the result. From the results of the study of the receding effect on the water profile profile, it affects tlie water level elevation in all parts of the STA of each river. With a low tide of 0.73 m, various water levels along the river were obtained from both HEC-RAS and Standard stages. The result of water profile profile calculation using HEC-RAS with Standard step method in all rivers is not much different, in musi river, river kerasan, ogan river, small musi river and gerong river is 0.00073%; 0.00060%; 0.012%; 8.35%; 0.021%.
